This tutorial demonstrates how to log in and register with Scopus.
When you register in Scopus, you can:
To log in to Scopus, click Login.
Enter your Scopus username and password, and then click Login.
Select Remember me when you log in to keep your login and personal settings for the next time you use this computer.
A link to activate remote access to Scopus may be available.
Click OpenAthens login to log in using your Athens account.
Or, click Other institution login to use your institutional account.
Here, you can find your institution by searching or by selecting from a list.
To search, begin entering your institution name in the search box. You will see a list of matching institution names.
As you enter an institution search term, a results lists potential logins for you to select.
Now let’s go back and look at how to register with Scopus.
If you are registered in Scopus, the personalized features (for example, alerts) are available when you log in using these links.
If you do not have a Scopus user name and password, click Not Registered? to create them.
Enter your name, email address, and password on the Register form.
If you would like to periodically receive information about Scopus and other related products, click the provided check box.
Click the check box to indicate that you have read and understood the Registered User Agreement’s terms and conditions.
To enter additional contact information in your personal profile, click Add profile details.
This is not required for registration.
Click Register to finish.
Once you click Register, you will receive a confirmation message and email, plus you will be logged onto Scopus.
Click on your name to view several account options.
Click Logout to end your session.
If you are using a public or shared computer, logging out at the end of every session will help to safeguard your username and password.
